Warhammer 40,000 - Tyranids
Warhammer 40K’s latest entry into the field of battle are the Tyranids. The Tyranids are a ravenous race of aliens that have traveled through the cold darkness of the intergalactic void in order to feed upon the galaxy. Vast swarms of scuttling creatures, winged horrors and towering monstrosities consume everything in their path, scouring whole planets of life and devouring entire civilisations. The Tyranids are the ultimate predators against which the galaxies mightiest armies are naught but prey. The Tyranids army collection in-store consists of the 96 page Codex: Tyranids and a number of miniatures.
Featured here is the Tyranid Gargoyle Brood: Gargoyles are often the first wave of a Tyranid swarm to be seen in battle. Thus a Tyranid attack is preceded by the beating of thousands of membranous wings as Gargoyle Broods descend upon the foe; blocking out the sun, and spitting death from their fleshborers and caustic venom from their fanged mouths. This box set contains 10 multi-part plastic Tyranid Gargoyles. Models supplied with small flying bases.
Warhammer 40,000, for those of you who are not familiar, is the tabletop battlegame of the far future, which allows you to wage war with armies of Citadel miniatures across miniature battlefields in the ultimate contest of strategy and skill. Each player is a commander who must choose his finest warriors, decide upon cunning battle plans and strategies and lead his army to victory or death. Games can vary in size from small skirmishes of just a few dozen models per side, to massive clashes with hundreds of miniatures.

This is Monsterpocalypse, a fast-moving, action-packed strategy game played with high-quality collectible miniatures portraying the most fearsome giant monsters on Earth! Each battle takes place in a city that you and your opponent construct by placing buildings on a city map. Players choose their forces from their respective collections of figures and then battle one another with giant monsters and supporting units such as tanks, flying vehicles, and all manner of creatures. Charge your monster into the city to fight for supremacy, and be the last monster standing!
When the battle begins, you command your monster and lead your units into the city to hunt down and destroy your opponent's monster. To accomplish your mission, your monster and units each have weapons and abilities that are activated by special dice. Monsters can increase their power throughout the game by smashing buildings and destroying enemy units. When two monsters fight each other, the results are devastating-they can throw each other across the city, slam into buildings, and suplex each other into radioactive rubble! The last monster standing wins the game!
